Most people find a tradesperson on Google Maps, then check the listing before they ring. I make sure yours is complete, correct and looks as good as your work.
Fixed prices, agreed in writing before I start. My first 3 clients get the lower price and pay when the job's done, in return for letting me show the finished work as an example.

I look at your Google listing next to the top three trades near you and show you what's missing. It's yours to keep, whether or not you go ahead.
We agree it in writing
A short agreement: what's included, the price and when you pay. Nothing starts until you've said yes to it.
You add me to your listing
From your own Google account you add me as a Manager. I never ask for your password, and you can remove me any time.
I do the work, you check it
You send me your photos and details. I set it all up, then you check every detail before anything goes live. One round of changes is included.

You get a one-page sheet of what was done and what you own, plus a QR card to ask customers for reviews.

No promises about rankings
Nobody can honestly promise you'll be top of Google. Distance and reviews count for a lot. What I promise is a listing that's complete and correct, which is the part you can control.
You own everything
Your web address is bought in your name, your Google listing stays yours, and I never keep your passwords. If we stop working together, nothing disappears.
Real reviews only
I'll help you ask every customer for a review, the same way, with no freebies. Writing, buying or cherry-picking reviews is against UK law and Google's rules, so I won't do it.
I'm Tom, an A‑level student in Birmingham.
Plenty of good local trades have no website, or a Google listing that was set up years ago and never finished. Fixing that is quick when you know where to look, and it shouldn't cost hundreds of pounds.
I'm just starting out, so I don't have past clients to show you yet. That's why the first three get the lower price and pay at the end: you only pay if you're happy with it.
I work mostly by email, so you can reply when it suits you. If something's easier to talk through, we can have a quick Teams call.
Questions
Do I need a website as well as a Google listing?
Not always. For a lot of trades the Google listing does most of the work. A website helps when people want to check you out properly before they ring, and it gives your listing somewhere to link to.
What do I need to give you?
10 to 20 real photos (your van, your work, before and after), the jobs you do and the ones you don't, the areas you cover, your hours, and proof of any badges like Gas Safe or NICEIC. I can't add a badge without proof.
How long does it take?
Usually a few days once I've got your photos and details. Google can take up to a week to confirm my access to your listing, and that part is out of my hands.
Who pays for the web address and hosting?
You buy your own web address, in your name, for about £10 a year. I connect it for you. Hosting a one-page site like this is free.
Will this get me more calls?
I can't promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. A complete listing gives people more reasons to pick you, but results depend on things like your reviews and how close you are to the person searching.
